I think about my work in reference to my life. I’ve blended with it and become it. I wear it on my sleeve everyday. I think about us in reference to time. We, us, ourselves, our bodies, are fleeting moments. Here, then gone in an instant. We are shooting stars within the grand scheme of things. My work is here to make a viewer slow down and lose their sense of time. With all of the thoughts running through our minds of everyday anxieties, each piece becomes an extended fragment of life. An open hand, the cosmos turning, we become the things we view. There is no beginning and end to these works, only the time you choose to stay.
